Celebrate 70 Years of KCDMA Education & Recognition at the 2018 AMBIT Awards!
Mark your calendar: Submissions Open November 1!
The annual KCDMA AMBIT Awards are always the culmination and celebration of a year of exceptional work, but this year will be even bigger. 2018 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of KCDMA, and the AMBIT Awards will be our chance to celebrate decades of education and connecting marketers in Kansas City + the incredible, award-winning work we do here.
Just like KCDMA is different from other associations with its focus on data- and results-driven marketing, the AMBITS are different from other awards shows: Sure, there’s excellent creative, and incredibly innovative ideas… but judging is equally weighted on strategy, creative and results. We believe that’s key to why KCDMA has been successful.
Wondering what makes a winning entry? See who won at the 2017 AMBIT Awards here.
We’ve updated the categories to be more relevant to the work the KCDMA has been doing! See the full list of 2018 Categories here.

“We love participating in the AMBITs. It’s not just winning. It’s a win, win, win. Your agency wins recognition. Your client wins because of the quality of your results-driven work, and the marketing community wins because of your support for the KCDMA.” – David Cacioppo, CEO, emfluence
“When you run an in-house marketing team, it’s nice to receive recognition for your work: both the creative, but also the results it drove. Being recognized alongside some of the region’s top marketers is quite humbling. Plus, the event itself was amazing — a celebration of great work the smart people behind it all! – Angela Ridpath, VP Marketing, MCH Strategic Data
“We love the KCDMA AMBIT Awards. Winning one, especially a gold, is a big achievement because it combines strategy and results with the creative. It’s important to be recognized for projects that work for our clients and help them grow. The extra bonus comes at the award show where our clients, friends and industry folks gather to celebrate, which boosts our exposure.” – Clifton Alexander, Creative Chuck Norris, REACTOR Studios
