(Kansas city, mo.) ... Steve Miller, senior vice president of A. Eicoff & Co. of Chicago, will present "Call by Midnight Tonight: The Evolution of Direct Response Television" during the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Radisson Hotel Lenexa - Overland Park, 12601 W. 95th Street, (95th & I-35), Lenexa, Kan. The luncheon meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. costs $30 for members and $45 for nonmembers. Miller will show entertaining examples from the past 50 years, highlight today's most effective creative techniques and offer a glimpse into the industry's future.
For the past 20 years Miller has worked for A. Eicoff, the world's largest TV direct response agency and a division of Ogilvy & Mather. His clients have included Sears, Bank One, Carnival Cruise Lines and Kimberly Clark.
In an afternoon workshop from 2 to 4, Gregory Gragg, president of Gragg Advertising, Kansas City, will present "The New Face of TV Direct Response" with tips on developing advertising that builds the brand while selling products, what ads to buy and how to track the results. Gragg is a former president of KCDMA and the founder of Gragg Advertising, a full-service marketing, direct marketing and advertising agency.
