(KANSAS CITY, MO.) ... Ron Jacobs will present "Putting Customers at the Intersection of Branding and Response," during the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Overland Park Convention Center, 6000 College Blvd, Overland Park, Kan. He will explain how successful companies improve customer equity by customizing communications to distinct markets, including markets of just one person. Dinner for the Student Night event begins at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $30 for members and $45 for nonmembers.
Jacobs is president of Jacobs & Clevenger, a Chicago-based ad agency that provides direct, database and digital marketing solutions. He is a senior lecturer in the Medill Integrated Marketing Communications Program at Northwestern University. Jacobs is also co-author of "Successful Direct Marketing Methods," the best-selling trade and text book on direct marketing tools and techniques.
Workshop
Alan Weber, president of Marketing Analytics Group in Kansas City, will present a workshop from 3 to 5:30 p.m. called "Keys to Data Collection and Response Analysis." He will cover strategies and examples of effective data collection and response analysis. Weber is a past president of KCDMA and co-author of "Desktop Database Marketing."
