KCDMA prides itself on being one of the most active and respected direct marketing organizations in the country. And we need you to get involved to make sure that KCDMA can continue to deliver the quality programming and networking opportunities which makes us such a strong organization. You will benefit from the networking and learn from new experiences - plus you’ll have a great time! You can get involved as much or as little as your schedule permits, but keep in mind that what you get out of KCDMA is based on what you put in.

AMBIT - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To manage and produce the KCDMA AMBIT awards ceremony, ensuring all timeline and budget constraints are met. This is the area's single largest Direct Response competition and provides a key opportunity for practitioners to receive recognition for their professional accomplishments.

COMMUNITY SERVICE - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To enhance the image of direct marketing - and raise the profile of the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association - by helping a not-for-profit organization achieve its marketing objectives through assistance in planning and implementation of specific direct marketing practices and programs.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: Work with Association management and KCDMA Board to provide quality data that supports the marketing objectives of KCDMA.

VP - DM DAY & DM DAY CO-CHAIR - KCDMA Chairpersons

Objective: To plan and coordinate annual two-day educational event, ensuring all program planning, hosting, timeline and budget constraints are met. This is the area's single largest Direct Marketing conference and provides a key opportunity for area practitioners to advance their skills as well as for the organization to meet its mission.

EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To oversee the direction of the KCDMA Educational Foundation Advisory Committee pursuant of the KCDMAEF mission statement and administrative procedures established.

VP - Finance - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To ensure the Club operates in a fiscally responsible manner and to help individual Board Chairs understand the impact of their roles/activities on the financial health of the organization. This individual is responsible for collecting the information needed to develop the annual budget (which is to be approved by the entire Board) and monitoring adherence to that budget throughout the year.

'FUN'RAISER - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To plan, organize and execute a fund raising event to acquire donations for the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association Education Foundation.

MEMBERSHIP RETENTION - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To increase and sustain membership of existing membership base.

VP-MEMBERSHIP - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To increase KCDMA membership and explore ways to add value to affiliation.

VP - Marketing - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To facilitate a consistent message between all committee positions and members. Ensure those messages are present in all communications materials.

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To produce the monthly meeting announcement and flyer promoting KCDMA dinner meeting and workshop.

ROSTER - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To produce a professional roster of individuals, companies and specialties which is easily referenced, accurate and timely at a reasonable cost to the Association.

WORKSHOP - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To plan and coordinate monthly Workshops for KCDMA.

VP - Programming - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To provide quality programming that will attract attendees and provide value to members. This individual is directly responsible for arranging the programming for regular monthly meetings, works with the Workshop Chairperson to plan workshops, and with others as needed to plan and implement additional educational or social functions.

MEMBERSHIP RETENTION - KCDMA Chairperson

Objective: To increase and sustain membership of existing membership base.
