We’re less than a month away from the 2014 Direct Marketing Boot Camp and I’m excited. Last year, my DM Days committee revamped KCDMA’s Basics of Direct Marketing course, drawing in over 60 emerging marketers and students. In 2014, Boot Camp is leveling up again. First, I love seeing national speaker and author, Pat Friesen, head the line-up as she has done for her home-town club for years! She presents on direct response copy writing and great direct marketing examples for Direct Marketing Association chapters around the country from Omaha to New York, but KC can claim her as our own.
This year, the DM Days committee (shout out to Erin Sass and Susannah Sulsar!) is taking Boot Camp to the next level and supplementing Pat’s lessons with afternoon sessions in 4 of the key direct marketing channels: search marketing, email marketing, list buying and management, and even some social media. This is going to be a powerful, robust Direct Marketing “booster shot” for your college marketing degree.
